Jerusalem’s Redemption Is Accelerating

October 7, 2023, changed Am Yisrael forever.

It was a day of unimaginable pain, but also a national watershed moment. Since then, enormous changes have taken place across Israel.

And nowhere is that acceleration more tangible than in Jerusalem.

After 25 years working with Ateret Cohanim, I can tell you: I have never seen progress like we have witnessed over the past two years.

Geulat Yerushalayim — the Redemption of Jerusalem — has shifted into high gear.

And you helped make it happen.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, together with several important court victories, the past 12 months have brought remarkable achievements:

Two yeshivot expanded in and around the Old City, bringing more Torah learning and more Jewish students into these historic neighborhoods.

Near Flowers Gate, we completed a major acquisition of 1.2 dunams, including a two-story building. We also created a new Beit Midrash, classrooms and mikvah, while renovating a dormitory for 60 high school yeshiva students.

In the historic Yemenite Village of Shiloach, six additional Jewish families moved into their new homes following unprecedented court victories involving properties belonging to the Jewish Hekdesh.

And we’re not finished.

Another 12 apartments are waiting to be renovated, opening the way for even more Jewish families.

In Kidmat Zion, we completed a miklat and Beit Knesset for our growing community.

We continued advancing the Lamm Yemenite Beit Knesset and Heritage Center.

And the beautiful Ann Hoenig a”h Outlook was established on the rooftop of Beit HaMaaravim, overlooking the Jerusalem we are helping rebuild.

What a year!

But these aren’t simply Ateret Cohanim’s accomplishments.

They are yours.

Every renovated apartment. Every Jewish family moving home. Every yeshiva student learning Torah. Every Beit Knesset. Every acquisition strengthening Jewish life in Jerusalem.

Your support helped make it possible.

You don’t do this for recognition. But you deserve to know what your generosity is accomplishing.

Hashem has blessed us with the opportunity to invest in Am Yisrael, Torat Yisrael, Eretz Yisrael and Yerushalayim.

And after 25 years doing this work, I believe we are living through an extraordinary moment.

Jerusalem’s redemption is accelerating.
